“Avalanche" and “Wave" by artist Angel Chen
West Hollywod, CA- Angel Chen has created nine new works at the Here Is Elsewhere Gallery as part of her “Shadow and Light" series to be presented during Westweek along with French artist Vanessa Atlan. With the predominantly black and white paintings, Ms. Chen continues her journey began with her “Landscape" series. Inspired by natural elements and forces of nature “these new works set out to capture the uncontainable and harness its energy." Her paintings beautifully incorporate a number of textiles such as leather, suede and raw silk, creating awe-inspiring masterpieces. The exhibition will be open to the public on March 20.
