Los Angeles, CA-  If you haven't been to the sleek and ultra-modern Ray's and Stark Bar yet what are you waiting for? Designed by famed architect Renzo Piano, the restaurant is named after Ray Stark, the late film producer and former LACMA Trustee.  Super talented executive chef Kris Morningstar collaborated with the Patina Group's Joachim Splichal to create the Mediterranean inspired farm-to-table menu which is based of seasonal and local ingredients and changes daily. “I can literally walk outside and, 10 seconds later, I can have a handful of herbs and baby lettuces,” says Chef Morningstar of the restaurant's onsite garden.

In addition to Morningstar, Patina Restaurant Group has brought in a team of seasoned hospitality professionals:  General Manager Ron Carey, the former General Manager at Sona, supervises all day-to-day operations; Sommelier Paul Sanguinetti hails from Fraîche and has cultivated an exciting wine list; and Pastry Sous Chef Josh Graves, previously of Boule, oversees the pastry program and has recently been named "Best New Pastry Chef" by Angeleno Magazine. DETAILS: Open noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday to Tuesday. Bar open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday to Tuesday. Corkage fee, free for the first bottle and $15 after that. Valet parking, $8 for two hours, $3 each additional hour, maximum $15. Self parking available in museum parking garage, enter on 6th Street, $10 flat rate before 7 p.m., free after 7 p.m. Museum admission tickets are not required for the restaurant or bar.

Taste the chef's latest favorite dishes – both on and off the menu. On Monday nights, he prepares a special tasting menu which each course priced at $10. Minimum 3 courses; we ask that the table participate.
